Delete your account & data
This page explains how to permanently delete your CalmPath account and the data associated with
it, what gets removed, and what we retain.
Option 1 — Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open CalmPath and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm you understand it can't be undone, then re-enter your password.
Your account and data are deleted immediately upon confirmation.
Option 2 — Request it by email
If you can't access the app, email us from the address on your account and we'll process the
deletion:
Email support@calmpath.app
We verify ownership of the account email, then delete the account. Requests are completed
within 30 days (usually within a few days).
What is deleted
- Your account and profile (email, display name)
- All chat conversations with Calm
- Your mood check-ins and history
- Your journal entries
- Your wellness insights
- Your notification preferences and subscription record
What is retained
-
Anonymized crisis-safety records — for everyone's safety we keep a record that
a safety event occurred (severity and time only, with no link back to you and no
message content).
-
Anonymized, aggregated usage analytics — de-identified event counts, never any
message, journal, or mood-note content.
We may also retain limited records where required by law. We never keep the content of your
conversations, journal, or mood notes after deletion.
